The School

The INUIT Traditional Kayak School is an advanced sea kayaking school and is located in the Bracciano - Martignano Regional Natural Park, close to the Le Pantane protected area, on Lake Bracciano in Trevignano Romano in the locality of Poggio delle Ginestre, via Settevene Palo, 79. We are within the sailing club Sport Vela Movimento ASD Poggio delle Barche. The fact of existing within a club allows us to take advantage of the many services reserved to members only, such as private parking, private beach, restaurant service, showers, changing rooms, boat storage, etc. Our subscribers will be with associated to the Poggio delle Barche club with no extra charge and the registration will be valid for one year from the beginning of the course.

The conformation of the coast, together with the sandy and shallow lakebed is particularly safe and suitable for carrying out basic courses. The lake, being varied, non crowded and thanks to its well preserved environment, has the ideal dimensions for even long excursions and represents an excellent training course to develop all the skills that will be precious to us at sea, while the rather mild climate thanks to its proximity to the sea, allows us to be active all year round.

There is a number of initiatives that we are able to carry out from our headquarters on a daily or weekly basis, but we do not forget our marine vocation, therefore we regularly organize very frequent initiatives at sea, ranging from the near Santa Marinella, to the farther Circeo, Ponza, Argentario, and sometimes pushing us as far as Sardinia, for unforgettable full immersion experiences.
